Sucker for a good deal...CRT 1X - 08.20.2008, 02:47 PM

Well thanks to Arct1k in the good deal thread I found another project I couldnt pass up...is it worth the $150 I paid?...came just like you see it with a body also....tying to deside if I should put the 1515/2.5d/s in this on 6's with my new MMM I have coming and use my Medusa 36-60-2000 in my erevo with the mm on 4's or vice versa.....looking to race and sometimes bash ans sometime speed runs....I ran BrianG script on this CRT with the 2.5d on 6's with 48/14 and it seems to scream....can you tell by the pictures what spur I have? and this has no tranny?...is this like direct drive?

give me some input please like esc placement

I have only experience with traxxas products (revo's, emaxx, stampedes, rustlers, bandits) and I must say this ofna is a horse of a differant color....the construction as I'm sure you know is mostly metal and everything looks much more .....shall I say professional looking

This is a centre diff - i.e. on Brians script direct drive 1:1.

The ESC should mount up directly on the top plate - That is what the tail is for.

Just count the spur....

It does need some cleaning up - the rx/sevro plate is a bit messed up - you don't need the CF and mikes support.

Also seems to be a random nitro motor mount left in place.

Worth getting the side pods but a good deal for 150

So I can remove that CF plate out from underneath the aluminum one correct?

the plastic peice that sits in front of the battery tray (left front) this can be removed?

are you refering to the mud guards that came with it?

Nice deal. :)

I remember that was my toughts when I got my 1st nice non-TRX RC. Wow, everything is metal and so tough. Granted I still had a lot of fun w/ my Revo, but makes you realize how cheezy some of the TRX engineering is after you've played with something else.

That's a hell of a deal!!!
If it was me I'd put the Medusa in the E-revo and the Neu in the CRT. Also, try and gear for low 40's. Anything higher will be high temps!

Also, lost the CF radio tray, that little fiberglass piece to the left of the radio tray, and it seems that next to the battery box there is a stray nitro motor mount there... Take that out as well.
