Hey Mike. How are you going to supply the F/R assemblies? Are you going to chop up some Revo's? Or, are you going to get the parts together and make a kit?

I would be wondering the same thing. I dont know about dealer prices but at retial to build any part of a RC from spares is extremely expensive. But selling new revo parts on e-bay is a pretty good $ maker. So I would chop some revos, which is exactly what I am doing. :p

I also asked this in the other thread, but I wanted to direct this at gorrila maxx too.

I was wondering would it also be possible to use two of the longer center Revo shafts with this chassis? If the lengths are around 86mm and 102mm it seems to me that they would work with only very minor modification.

The about 102mm shaft:

And the 86mm shaft. It could be shortened easly if it is a little to long, but it seems to work nicely:

I understand the lengths with this type of shaft might be slightly different and I just guessed where the dogbones might be since that is where you siad the measurments where from. Anything in the 102 and 86mm ballpark would seem to work. Is there somthing I am missing?

Also the shafts fit great on the e-maxx tranny output shaft with only a little removel of materal.

My guess is that it should work with those shafts, (not based on anything, but my guess is that they are long enough But have you got enough meat when it's 102mm long? I don't know about the thickness of those shafts.

The problem with the stock type drive shafts is clearance(too big diameter). The space is limited, so really a metal drive shaft is the only option. Anything larger would rub the steering parts in the front and the bulkheads in the rear(the rear would be close, but I am quite sure it will rub).

Hey Mike can you give us a ball park on the cost of the G2R kit with everything needed to complete minus the electronics using stock revo parts?
