9920 back in stock? -
10.24.2005, 04:05 PM
I heard the 9920 are back in stock soon. Outta curioustiy, waht is the resell value of these esc? most rc stuff on ebay get about 50-70% back... Would i lose much money if i buy new and try to resell? MOre then likely, i'll get an itching for more power! lol. Dunno if i should buy. I dont accept free money *cough (daf, serum). But i will accept b-day presents! lol. It would be a hard hit to my rc fund. lets see, 200 for esc, 80 for motor, 20 for clamp. 50 for tranny. 100 for decent charger , 100 bux for decent batts, 50 bux for other small stuff (connecter, wires, etc). thats about 600 bux!!!! Hmmm, lipos woudl drain my fund even more.....
Should i buy the esc? by buying the esc, it'll mean i gotta buy a buncha other stuff so i can get into electric.. METALMAN!! how do u do it!?!??!
Any1 quitting rc here? or is willing to sell me all of their electric stuff at a decent price? lol

What birthday present did you had in mind Nbcabnzm?
That esc won't drop very much, it depends on the buyer though..
I thought you needed better grades first though? :p

If you want more power than the 9920 going to handle. It is really going to hurt your budget. the 9920 will do more than my 1897 schulze. If you want more power get the 90 dollar motor instead of 80. what is $10?
Peace!

What you think serum? If in doubt get the big motor. You can not squeeze the trigger better than squeezing the controller into pieces. :L: I guess you got me on the $610. :D
Use the anti tire balloning on his mouth. :L::L::L::L::L::L:

Saving up :p. Got my first system in November of last year after saving up for a couple of months. Damaged the Warrior 9918, sent it in for service. Got my second system in January or February (after I saved money from Christmas). Got my first Lipo (loose cells) in January, but I bargained the price down on that (because of the quantity of cells). Got 2nd Lipo pack in March, but I got about $50 off for several discounts. MGM Compro got damaged in ~March-April. Got the 9918 after about 4 months in April. Got some more loose Lipo cells in May (after birthday). Damaged Warrior 9918 in July. Went without RC for a month, when I sent my 9918 to Mike to see if he could repair it, and I borrowed a controller. Sent that controller back after a couple weeks, and have been without one for about 2 months. MGM isn't responding to my emails, and Mike is going to try fixing my 9918. I ordered some new batteries for $144 (Lithium Iron Phosphate), waiting for them in the mail. Will be buying a 3s 4200mah 15C Lipo pack soon for ~$95 shipped (these deals are great!). Ain't this stuff great?
BTW, I did have a job over the summer, but I got about $45/week from that, and my mom made me put in half of my earnings. I also get $23 a week for chores + $5 lunch money.
That's how I do it.

The 9920s are out of stock I bought the last one - no joke. You made it 10x more worthwhile.
