Converting Emachineshop file - 10.23.2005, 04:29 PM

Ive designed a battery holders for the BL savage using the emachineshop software. Ive sent the files to 2 machine shops but they cant open the file and ask me to convert the file into DXF. Does anyone know how to convert? Or is there any other way to open .ems file using other CAD softwares? Maybe Dafni or Serum can help me on this..

Thanks

I found it but their program isn't that good it's very hard to use compared to solid works. Anybody know of any other free cad programs.

What is up with the solid work? Is that a free program? Where do you get that from? I didn't think emachine was that bad. I haven't tried but one other program many moons ago. Around the orginal pentinum days.

Solidworks is a very expensive cad program, I found it very easy to use though.
