I thinking of dying the chassis from grey to another color.....I know black works well with the grey, im just wondering if anyone else has any ideas on what colors might work well with the grey mold.....I'm thinking darker colors........not sure

I saw some blue parts and I thought they looked really cool...it was the traxxas gray with a normal blue dye and it comes out a dark navy blue that I really like.

Probably the lighter blue will get you some sort of medium to dark blue. You may want to experiment of another cheaper part, like a tmaxx bulk or some t maxx servo standoffs...

I dyed my chassis and rockers blue. I used Rit dye. I think the color is royal blue? I'll have to check. I think it looks fantastic. I don't like the stock color, that's for sure. I'll post pics if I get a chance.

sorry to bring up an old thread, but is the e revo chassis plastic? Is the nitro one aluminum? and are they interchangable?

The erevo one is plastic, and the nitro one is aluminum, and yes they are interchangable, they both use the same front & rear ends...ie bulkheads ect..

Well with the erevo, you can run it stock, drop your batts in and go, or swap out the brushed stuff & put your BL in, and set it up like the platinum edition, ( which is what i did), or buy the platiunum edition, sell what isn't needed and do a conversion witht the stock chassis or drop in the erevo one with the erevo tranny.....pretty much what ever option you wish to pursue....FYI...newe......I got your metal for your mount welded up...just need to ship it....
