Thats why I use the temp guns that can be programmed to measure certain surfaces with program changes. A temp gun that measures all surfaces temps w/o having to change settings isnt to accurate in my opinion from what Ive seen and used compared to specific programmed ones. Im happy to see it was just a glitch.
