Digital servo question - 10.27.2008, 11:44 PM

Can you run a digital servo (hitec hsc 5998tg) off a fm reciever(AE XP3d)?


FLM Extended Savage -Nue 1521 2d MMMv3 6cell
E-Maxx -Flm Parts stock motors (the wife's)
Slash -MM medusa 3300k 3cell 68 mph!

Sure. You should not have any issues. That servo can pull some juice, so you may want an external bec if the esc can't keep up...

Yes. Digital servos run just fine on even AM radios, although I wouldn't recommend it. You need a higher end radio to fully take advantage of a digital servo, though.

Will the MMMv3 supply enough power or should I get an external CCBEC.
