ATLeast we both have REAL trucks right...
Wouldn't trade it for a Dodge either right? My truck might not be a heavy weight oil burner but I have seen one put up against built up diesels in a truck pull in the street class, it held it's own considering it was bone stock going up against better tires, big turbos, and all kinds of other goodies. By the way, I drive an '04 F-150 w/ 5.4L that I got after trading in my Dodge

Exactly!!! I might have to go do another dyno run though. I'm now double stacked with with a Smarty programmer and a Quadzilla X2. On paper it should top 500/900 (but thats assuming some of the programming doesnt duplicate effort, which they do on some parameters). But I'm fairly certain I'd send tranny parts into the next county if I cranked them both up. Adding the second box really made the truck smooth, and cut down on the black smoke. I was really getting self conscious about fogging out every intersection even going easy on it.

Back on topic - you showed a curved ramp. Is that really better given what I'd like to do? Seems to me that if we were setting up ramps as jumps on a makeshift course, having ramps that induce back flips would be quite distracting!

I think I'm going to stop at Sears tomorrow and buy a couple of those. Maybe I can figure out how to join them side by side to make some thing this old guy can hit. Might be able to take a third one - and cut off the sides to use to join them together (use a couple zip ties through some holes in them).

the curve on my ramp is very mellow, you can do flips but it doesnt induce them just let off as soon as your airbrone and itll fly level. a flat ramp is no fun... and ramp like your thinking with alot of cuvre is not much good for other than tricks, that ramp is inbetween.

as for joining the the plastic ramps, cut one of the sides bottom lips off and then set it on top of ther others lip and the sides will be touching just drill a couple holes and use bolts with wing nuts. and with the sides touching you wont have that gap youd have just setting them beside each other. you wont need a 3rd one to join them.

last bit of off topic, we made 3 runs with my truck, got 390s hp an 840s tq im more than happy with it, and with the transmission they built for it will smoke the tires through 1st, 2nd, and then bark them in 3rd. and mine doesnt black smoke hardly ever, black smoke is wasted fuel....and like you said its not very appealing at intersections.

The Ten Eighty is nice but you really need 2 side by side. At 35 to 40 it's a small target unless a crazy spiral followed by a long cartwheel is what you are after. They stack well also.

I went a skate board shop and got two of these. I take them to the So-Cal bashes and guys do flips of them all the time, they are $28 each (I think) they work GREAT!.. Jnev has two of these too.

The measurements of the ramp are (24”w x 44”l x 12” high)

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

Well that is what we ended up with so far. And yes, we had to put them side by side, which worked out ok. Looks like we need to buy a couple more though. These are of my brother in laws emaxx after I broke my Revo, and got bored with the stock emaxx. He's running a Novak 4.5 with zippy 4s.

And he landed on his ass a few too many times.

I need a ramp, but carrying it to and from the bash site is a problem; rucksack on back, truck under one arm, ramp under the other... I think not....
