Slipper Settings w/ A Fieago 9L, MM, and a ESavage?

Well.. tightened down the slipper all the way down, and released about 1/8, and eased off. Can't get it to run!
What's going on?
Mesh = Paper Trick used.

I'm going crazy! Help mee...

I know it's the slipper. When I lift the truck up, it runs insanely fast! At least I got that part done.
So that means that nothing is stripped inside the tranny.
Anyone know if the stock tranny for the ESavage is aluminum and BL ready?

Anyways, I want to ask, what's your thoughts, and what worked best for you?

Is your pinion set screw tight on the motor? try putting a flat spot on the shaft with a dremel. Try tightening the slipper all the way and seeing if it moves then? Is the slipper warn out? When you try going and it doesn't move what IS it doing? Motor free reving? See if the shaft is spinning inside the pinion, if not then try tightening the set screw or putting a flat spot on the shaft. If thats all good next in line would be the slipper. Is the shaft the slipper is mounted to spinning? If not it points to a faulty slipper, if it is then my guess is something in the tranny is shot.

1. Yup, as tight as it can go.
2. Already a flat spot.
3. Tried all the way tight, no go. I might have to try again with my regular batteries, as I was using NiCD on the bench.
4. Before the change, I was running LiPos, like insanely speeding?
5. It's almost like it's glitching, but it's not. (No worries, I have a DX3R w/ 2.4ghz ;)) It's trying to go, but something's binding up, I can't figure it out.

7. Shaft isn't free-spinning, it's spinning the pinion as well.

Sorry bout your luck but it looks like thats what your going to have to do!

Does your spektrum receiver cut out when you apply throttle when it is on the ground? Is this only happening when you use the NiCad batteries? Try your lipos.

When the truck is on the ground a lot more amps is sucked down, than when the wheels are lifted. A high amp draw lowers voltage, which could be enough for the spektrum to cut out due to a too low voltage input from the esc.

What happens when you slowly accelerate? Does it move?

The cure for the spektrum problem is attaching a capacitor to the RX to store power for when the voltage drops. Just attached something like a 16V 4600uF capacitor to a free spot on your RX.
