Maybe this is old news, but look what I just found:

9000kv loaded...That's nuts! I just hope the motor can keep its cool. I do love that "interview" though, lol!

It's about time they came up with a 9000kv motor.

Correction..Losi has a 9400kv motor for 1/18th...

1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

Who the hell is buying these high kV motors? They are great for one time use. Kind of like toilet paper.

ha ha they say 2s lipo MAX voltage. whos gonna be the first to run it on 3 or 4s? :-) what would that be 200000 rpm? everybody DUCK! incoming!

I can see these being used a LOT in the 2-cell class for the International Speed Challenge this year, but for uses other than that, I'm not sure. I guess Castle just like being a tad crazy. If your cells can take the pain, then it's gonna be fun to try out at any rate IMO.
