hosoi was the shit, im pretty sure he got out of jail a little while back maybe a year now? i still ride his red and white kamakazi board 9x32.5 (huge board) on 65mm softies on bones ceramics. I havent skated a ton of vert mostly bowls since thats all we have around here, here is me doing a BIG bowl to bowl tranfer in dallas 9 foot deep to 6 foot deep across a full width deck (4'), highlight of that trip a couple years ago. I also broke my left shouder the next day doing a backside disaster on the 11' over vert (have it on video and was trying to throw it in at the end of a long line and bit it hard. I try not to get carried away anymore ive broke my tail bone 3 times and if i break it agian they said they were gonna remove it and fix it so thats not good, right now it looks like a fish hook. youll meet some of the most interesting people when you skate bowls and vert

every one makes mistakes, he got in deep with the wrong crowd, but he is a stand up guy, and he still airs it out! have you seen his pics since he has been out? it made me curious so i went digging through some of my mags and found some new pics of him in late 07, still rocking that style.
