ok i have a 3.3 converted revo of course. will a revo brushless edition handle the power better. really iv'e dumped mad cash into making it brushless capable with bad results.

is the e-revo stronger that a revo 3.3 conversion. really i want to sell all my crap to buy a e-revo brushless edition i'm sick of breaking stuff and i realize none of my 3 trucks are perfect with abuse

or is the e-revo tranny stronger that a 3.3?

Not sure about which is stronger but Robinson Racing makes a steel tranny gear set for the revo trans.

Hope this helps you

ok iv'e broken the trx 5393 shaft, 5383 gear small gear (close) and 5383 gear (close).
the 5383 must be a set as they are both listed

though i must say the brian-g 2 pin on shaft mod works perfect. props to him

the erevo tranny is the same as the emaxx 3905 (newer) brushless ready. I havent broken it running a 1y on 6s, though now 2d on 5s is my ticket. The 3.3 revo nitro trany isnt nearly as strong as the new erevo , brushless revo and emaxx...But seems when 3.3 or old emaxx is modded right (all on this site) with Mikes idler gears its just as good, but out of the box, new Traxxas tranny is sweet . Just need Mike or FLM to make an aluminum case for it !!!! (hint hint)
