I am sure he has some pics on the internet that can straighten this out...

I did that in college to make a little extra money. I loved it (then). Was the first I ever knew there was more than one 4 o'clock.

I agree that you guys that get the ice storms are in a world of hurt. Freezing rain is the second worst stuff I have ever driven in (several blizzards were the worst - sucks when you cant even see the front of your truck, and you cant stop cause someone behind you will never see you).

In our area, people in Exporers are the worst drivers in these conditions. They are the soccer mom vehicle of choice, and most have no clue as to the conditions. Most guys in trucks drive fairly sane, albeit a little faster than the cars. I've driven probably a hunderd thousand miles in snow and ice in my time - been lucky, been good, and been damn lucky a couple times, but have never been more than just a little sideways. But I also had to laugh at the guys trying to get to work in their 'Vettes and Mustangs. I'm not really sure what their thought process was to think that they were making a good choice drivng something like that in conditions like this.

The one nice thing is that holiday shopping has been much nicer for those of us who completely avoid the malls at this time of year.

Ha my mom was hoping for a snow day. It didnt start snowing til this morning but it is coming down fast snow. The wind and dust like snow make it hard too see and the harsh winds cut any exposed flesh. I wish I had a Blizzard or a snow mobile. Actually I wish I had a plow too make a little extra money.

Here's where we ended up yesterday. I tried to take the picutes from the same spots. It snowed all day and the snow got heavier. The pictures in the morning it was a real dry snow and easy to showel. By the afternoon that was a different story and the new snow was packing down the powder.

We broke a record for the most snowfall in a 24hr period.

I would just like to say Thanks, to everyone for their athletic supporters. Breaking the record really wasn't a team effort at all. Coming into this none of us really were thinking about the record. I guess that's the way most thing get broken though. From not thinking. But it happended and even though there is an astrick next to it. We are pretty sure we were sober when it started snowing. We will always vaguly remember this special record breaking day in November.

Started that project I've been putting off also. Shoveled a 100' trench out to a small garage were I had this thing all summer. I remember walking around it serveral times. Thinking I should take some time and get that thing running before winter.

I still got time. I don't think it is winter until the 21st.

We picked up another 7 inches today and were suppose to get another 7inches or more on saturday. We just had a major storm last week which dumped 11.5inches which cancelled school. So yeah today school is cancelled again.

I don't think that leaf-blower is going to do you any good. I'm hesitant to give that snow-thrower any extra credit! It just started to snow at my house. They say it will continue into the early morning. We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Wow - the greater Puget Sound area (Vancouver WA-Seatttle- VancouverBC) now has a blizzard warning.
I have never heard of there being a blizzard here - people are going to freak!
