I ran my RC8E two times and this last time I notice that both the front and rear CVDs that goes from the center diff is getting hot and now the Deans connector on the battery is melting, I can't find any binding. I have a 4s, 2200, MMM in a Tekno RC8 V3, is it because of the offset of the center diff, making the CVD work alot?---Jerry
Ok, you may need to use thicker diff fluid in the center, or at least check to make sure you have enough in there.
As for the deans, shorten up the wires going to the esc and the battery, and make sure you have good solid solder joints on the plug. And clean the plug too, dirty plugs are bad, mm'kay.
Yeah I would first try thickening up your center diff fluid. I'd try 10k. Some people go higher. With brushless conversions on heavy accelleration you tend to unload a lot more power to the front than you'd imagine.
And as for the deans - just try to rid the circuits of as much resistance as you can. Shorten wires as much as you can, check your joints, use clean/new plugs, etc. The less resistance the less heat there will be.
