Medusa 36/60/3100? - 12.30.2008, 10:48 PM

Would this motor an ok motor for an E-maxx geared 22/66. It will be running on 4s 5000mah lipo with a Mamba Max. Would a 36/60/2200 be better?

Your looking at 45-47K RPM's on that motor.. I personally think that would be running hot no?

Correct me if im wrong but I think the motor would get really hot on that.

How much does an Emaxx weight?

If it aint broke, break it, then fix it.

He will be running a rcm heatsink and a fan, so I think it should be alright. It weighs about 9 pounds i think it might be a little more.

I would go 2200KV myself.

I had a Feigao 8XL which is 2084KV on 4S and it was Fast, and perfect, and cool temps.

I think 3100KV is a bit high IMO.
