Maybe I will send them the motor and esc and let them just check it out...I will let them know that it was only out of warranty for a couple days. I mean I am still supporting thier product and all being I just orderedthe MMM combo. It would rock if they can help me out. I will see....sending out today. They have excellent support so I am sure they can do something for me. Even if I have to pay the fixing fee maybe they will give me at least update the warranty.

Okay just got off the phone with castle and he said that it doesn't sound like the a demagged motor simply b/c the heat wasn't really an issue with the motor at only 115*but the esc is 175* in 2-3 mins of rolling around, he said it sounds to him that the esc is bad due to a bad fet or cap. He asked when I bought it and he said that since its out of warranty by less then a month it would be a $50 charge for rapair and if unrepairable they would replace. He did say that if its just a minor fix they would "just take care of me but no promises." I asked if there is another year warranty with the repair/replacement for $50 and he said no 90 days.

He said when the MMM comes in try the motor on it and see how it runs. In the meantime send them the esc to check out.

I was planning on ordering a medusa for the MM esc, but with this now I dunno what to do. I think I should just send them the motor and esc and let them check them both and TRY to be patient. Man I have nothing running and this sucks. LHS is not promising 3 days on the MMM delivery just estimate so who knows when I will be up and running.

I think I am going to send them both into castle.....see what happens. Let you guys know what happens. I really dont care that the esc or motor failed I just want to run one of my rigs. lol.

Best bet is take the hit and drop in the post...

In the mean time - start taking your car apart and see if you can make it as shiney as TDC57!
