E-Revo spur ????? - 01.09.2009, 09:39 PM

Why do I feel like such a noob with such a simple thing as a spur gear?

I changed the spur and now the spur screws hit the motor mount/heat sink. I have them tightened all the way down. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Wow, thats a good one!

Not that I can say anything. I had to change out my spur on the revo and when I was done the back of the spur was touching the tranny case. So I scratched my head a bit and looked at it really good. Everything was on right () so I decided the spur was just weird and placed some small washers between the spur and the slipper to space it out.

Later when I was cleaning up I found this shinny metal disk on the floor, yep the disk that fits on the hub and the pads ride on it... Glad I did not drive the truck, I can imagine I would have screwed the slipper up...

Sometimes we are not at our best when working on these trucks...
