REvo hybrid diff question... - 02.03.2009, 01:33 AM

I am in the process of installing these. Question though--how do you keep the input shaft ball bearing (the one on the outside of the diff case) from popping out?

They're kept in place by the yoke/driveshaft.

You seat the yoke all the way against the bearing?

If I put the set screw of the yolk on the flat part of the input shaft, the space between the base of the yolk and the bearing is more than enough for the bearing to pop out.

Oh, I didn't realize I needed to slightly mod the input shaft.

Thanks.
