Best shocks for crt.5? -
02.05.2009, 09:11 PM
Stock shocks are too soft no matter what i try. Is it worth going over 100 weight oil and ordering the white (hard) springs because that is what i'm about to do unless i figure something out.

I also run Jato front shocks and Ofna LX-One front shocks on the rear. Here is a picture. BTW - it looks nothing like it does in the picture now.

damn.
those are the ones I have, but I'm not getting the response I need....They are too stiff and the front end is getting bouncy.
....I'll try a lighter oil.
I have green ones I can try too...
anyway. Thanks for the reply.

I used a "bottom" line.

ah...thats the ticket then.
I dont know what oil is in it right now....whatever it gets shipped with I guess
But 50wt seems higher then what Traxxas would use for stock....
I'm gonna try 30 and work my way up. I'd rather have the lightest I can w/o bottoming out.
Thanks again for your reply brother.

I used a "bottom" line.

Yep, thats it. Kind of a low C rating, but running 4s in a CRT.5 means very small amp spikes so the battery does well in it.
