Traxxas Summit - 03.01.2009, 05:01 PM

Im thinking of getting rid of a few trucks in order to buy me a traxxas summit. does anybody on here have any experience with these? any likes? dislikes? also what is the measurement of the battery compartment? would it hold a zippy 4900mah 2s? thanks in advance.

I saw one the other day at my LHS and there VERY nice. I think the Zippy should fit no problem. Pretty sure the chassis is the same as the E-Revo, so if it fits the E-Revo, should fit the Summit.

A buddy of mine runs Rhino 3s 4900mah in each compartment of his E-Revo. Very slight modifications were all that was necessary.

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz

Well if the battery trays on the summit are shorter than the length of the 3905's trays then im screwed. i just got these batteries and dont really wont to buy any more. Does anybody know the size of the e-revo battery compartments. This is pretty important because i dont want to go buy one and then have to wait a month to get different batteries that fit.

The size of the pack is 175x46x18. and its a rhino not a zippy(if it makes any difference).

If thats the case, your gonna be REAL close. Length is gonna be the problem. I do know if those are the Hobby City measurements, then there probably off...Just go to your LHS and see if they'll fit.
