Well after considerable thought ,i think i am just going to keep this and run it to the ground since i paid 500 for if i sell it i am lucky to get half back,i am going to buy a emaxx roller and build up from there,so i will have one to run while i am working on the other, i read so many post on people doing the tmaxx conversion and i think its easier just buying a roller,i just had this apart replacing a piece in the trans {slipper to tight} and after looking at the driveline and trans gears i can see this will not hold up to a strong brushless setup.so i can take my time and build a nice hopefully bulletproof drivetrain and have this while doing so,i will miss the electric until its done,i was out flying my planes today {brushless}and blew by a gasser who was @ full throttle like he was standing still, gotta love just landing change batts and off again,no mess no tune, plenty power

thanks for everyone who took the time to respond

Ron

Brushless Update - 04.11.2009, 11:07 AM

Here is my update to my conversion,on my last post i was giveing up on converting the T and just building an E from the ground up,until i cam across
this article
http://stampedeproject.com/RC-Car-Tr...onversion.html

after reading this and seeing the results i had to give it a shot,i found a used Novak 4.5 HV system on ebay for $150.00 only used once,Took all the nitro gear off the T Made up a custom motor mount, nothing fancy but it works, left the stock spur 58T and got a 22T steel pinion, cut some slots in the frame for the velcro to hold the battery, and added a couple holes for the motor mount and added one for the esc,I am useing the mechanical brake with a y harness disable reverse in esc.i also am using my airplane spectrum dx6i with a ar6100,i actually like the sticks better than the wheel, since thats all i used as a kid,the batteries are 3s 2400mah 25c i am using 2 in parallel,i am totally impressed with the results, the low end is better than my nitro ,the top end is just a tad under the nitro ,i gps the nitro @43 mph with this i hit 37,i moved the shift point up a bit to on the trans,to go into second faster, the temps have been good i did not have to put the gauge on it just feeling it and its only been warm same as bats after long high speed runs,i have run about 20 batts threw it and its been great, bashed the crap out of it and have not broken anything, been getting about 12 min run time i have not hit the low cutoff i stop when the timer goes off @ 12 min and usally have about 11.20 left thats doing some wheelies with high speed runs and just plane bashing and wheelies. it will differ from throttle pref .one thing i would like to add is a tray on each side for the batts after doing some triple flips i see they start to slide with only velcro, other than that its great and i can switch back to nitro in about 30 min,if i have the urge to,i will aslo be getting some 4s since i have to try it ,i can always use these in my planes also, that should take me over the speeds of the 3.3 nitro,Thanks again for all the replys and its nice to be brushless on the ground http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/images/smilies/mdr.gif

very please with the outcome fuess i have to get a new emaxx body now LOL
