New Firmware Bugs - 05.11.2009, 11:03 PM

i now have reason to believe that my mamba max killed my neu. i updated the firmware right before the run. and in the middle of the run the car comes to a hualt will smoke pouring from the motor. now to test with another motor and when i plug in my feiago all i get is cogging. i down graded the firmware
to 1.20 and it works fine. funny.

can this be the cause of my motor failure?

I would think contacting CC directly would be a better course of action at this point. Everyone including myself has had excellent experience with the new firmware so far so I doubt you will get much info off the boards.

^+1 I upgraded all mine and they seem way smoother, especially the 4800kv on 2s in my CRT.5, I even think it's running cooler. I put a full pack through it right after the update and it didn't even hit 100*

Tried mine with a Feigao 10XL and it runs smooth as butter.

Sounds like an isolated incident, I'd say your motor or something else has gone wrong. I'm currently running the new firmware on 2 of my ESCs and it's great!

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
