Arrow How many Aussies onboard. - 05.12.2009, 12:00 AM

No its not a joke tho i could give a few funny answers.
I have just moved over to this site as i have found the Traxxas site to be discrimanative of most threads.
I do most of my shopping via the web and postman. As HS's in Oz are a bit behind the times.
(I took my Erevo into one the other day and the bloke behind the counter blew a bolt. Especially after i showed him how hard it went).
When i buy parts, its ezr to buy bulk and resell and/or keep for spares. That way postage prices arnt wasted.
So i guess i'm just looking for swap meet standards online.
If ur an Ozzie just a quick reply with ur state will give me an idea who's onboard.

Traxxas E-Revo mmm 2200kv

Revo racer 3.3
Hyper ST Pro .28 Nosram.

Welcome to RC-MONSTER. Greatest bunch of guys and info. Enjoy

I'm in NSW, and thats all I am going to tell you

<<<<<< ignore that

Why did you leave the Traxxas Forum. Did it have something to do with a little "misbehavin"

Anyway, there are a few people from Australia here.

Pick me FatCat! I know there's a number of us but I'm not sure if any are from Adelaide.
I too am like you, I get blank looks at the LHS, but I think electric is starting to make a presence in the west.

I don't post much in here but check it out almost daily for info. I live in Brisbane, got a Savage in conversion, old losi buggy and a couple of drag cars. Most things are cheaper even with a bit of freight from OS but we have a time frame issue and cheaper freight options have no tracking - I am currently missing an order from Tower with this problem.
A few LHS around are good for small things.

Howdy n thanks for the replies. I proudly own a
E-Revo MMM 2200kv combo, RPM decked with led lit crowdpleaser body.
Revo 3.3 platnium chassis (was Vantage carbon fiber but i broke it), Rpm decked racer.
Hyper St Pro (No need to mod suspenion) .28 Nosram Monster...basher.
I want to convert the latter. So do 6-7 of me Pro Bro's. So we're poolin in for ten of Mick's mounts. The starting point. Then i reckon i'll hafta start savin for the MMM. I been lookin in hobbycity at the brushless combo's there, so i mght go cheap to start with. I will get around to puttin some pics an links up soon, Cheers guys.

Why did you show pictures of the revo if you want to convert the hyper?
