When in doubt, Build a Bigger Motor - 05.23.2009, 07:16 AM

Recently my dad's dragster engine spun a cam bearing... Right after it was rebuilt this winter, So now he decided to build up an even bigger motor :)

Its a Big Block ford 460 block, bored 4.440 and stroked to 532ci, Eagle H-beam rods, JE forged aluminum Pistons, and a .728 custom ground cam, Roller cam Bearings, Kaase Super cobrajet aluminum heads, Single plane High rise intake, Holley dominator carb running on alcohol.

Should put him well into sub 7 second 1/4 mile finally

The old setup was
470CID BBF
543 cam
stock crank
Same top end

That setup was running 8.3 1/4mi

More pics to come.
