Well heck, I just remembered, I did 65mph myself no problem with 7s2p A123, 1512 3D/Quark... the controllers was getting hot, but not thermaling, the motor was not getting hot (probably helped from the wind too), and the battery was only warm as well... sorry, don't have temps, lost my temp gun.

I agree...especially the front wing or splitter will make speed passes easier but limit the uses

Oh & linc, you got me too before it was taken down!

Thx guys, i feel more love now lol :D

I dont mind gearing it down to 65mph for everyday running and swap the gearing when i got the speed bug :), i have a good setup for truggies and revos for stability at higher speed, but i do like when you cant punch it, always on the edge of doing wheelies...

So my best options would be a HV110/pistix/Neu 1527/ good lipos 12s
or twin MMM/castle2200kv/ good lipos

Wich one would be lighter and more effective?

I can do the engine mount myself if needed by the way.

Heres a video of a 74mph run with my friend's E-revo, he is waiting for his new batteries that are better than the one in the vid (SMC 3400mah 18C)
I ordered him a set of 3S Polyquest 4500mah 30c.

We got 76mph 2-3 times now and a steady 75mph when batteries are full (differnt setup than the video...)

Thx guys!
