Just curious which neu motor 1521 is more poweful than the mamba monster 2200kv motor?

I ask because someone over at traxxas ssuggested it if I want more power over the 2200kv mamba motor, but couldnt continue discussion since its non traxxas.

Well, they both have the same kv, just one is smooth and one is finned. The finned one will naturally stay cooler for a given output, but both will have the same power.

As far as powerful, the 1521 is a more powerful motor over the 2200cc/Neu any day of the week. Its continuous and maxx output number are much greater than the CC/Neu. The sheer size of the motor is much larger.

What kind of powerful are they looking for?

Given the big caveat equivalent motor design and materials - Power output is primarily a function of the rotor length

CC 2650 is 1.25 inches i,e, 1512
CC 2200 is 1.5 inches i,e, 1515

A neu 1521 is guess what 2.1 inches

ahhh...you know just a little more power thats all not that I plan to use it or anything just like to have some in reserve if you know what I mean I will probably buy the fin one then due to better heat dissipation as suggested....anyone else disagree over this motor over 2200kv for more power?

The 2200 is not initially likely to be a limiting factor... Whatever blows your whistle... They are both great motors

MMM is a fine ESC - Your drivetrain will likely explode before reaching limits of 2200 motor - Plus you now need to watch your lipo selection...

All components must be in balance

If you are using a stock e-revo then you need to be looking at hybrid diffs, cvds etc etc - Also need to watch motor length before it hits shocks.
