8ight-t - secret of removing centre diff - 06.22.2009, 05:44 AM

Hi Guys,

Only had my 8ight-t for a week or so, and still doing the conversion. Whats the easiest way to pull the centre diff out (to change fluid) wihtout pulling the RC-Monster motor mount off the chassis each time. I want to avoid this as I've threadlocked the screws in and would hate to strip the threads (after it cost me nearly $100 AUD).

thanks

I think you have to at least remove one of the diff supports.

Remove the top plate completely and the front support and then it should come out... It should go right back into place when complete w/o messing w/ your gear mesh as well.
