Yeah, I have a couple of Elite 3300mAh 3s 30C lipos from there and they work quite nicely. Fast shipping too. Never dealt with their CS so I can't comment on that.

The packs are a little larger than the dimensions though, so I would get them in hand before ordering a tray.

I buy all of my building supplies from them, and I have bought custom nimh packs from them as well, 2/3A cell packs for 18th scale stuff and crawlers. Build quality was awesome, and I have never needed to use their customer service, as they have not made a mistake, and I have made at least 20 orders from them over 3 years.

I have had 2 as well. One cell went bad in each pack...my fault...so I sent them to the pimp for some mods to smaller packs and the rest of the cells have been holding up quite nicely!

Funny you should mention that, I just pulled some 4800 elite packs apart to make a 3s pack.

OK.. Thanks guys.
I ask because I had a friend place an order for me some time ago (37 days) and it still hasn't arrived.
Trying not to get too worried. I have spoken to Mike via email and he assures me it's been shipped and that USPS had been sloooooow lately.
Problem is.. my friend has started dispute proceedings with Paypal because it's taken so long and the value of the package.
I don't want to do wrong by Mike, but my friend has had previous bad expreiences so he wants to keep our butts covered. :(

catch 22.. what to do...

tough call. I have noticed that usps is a lot slower due to their "restructuring" I have several friends who work for them and all their routes have been almost doubled and expected to be done in the same time frame as before.

I would give it till the end of the week before I worry. I have been waiting 15 days from a chassis from Kershaw designs to show up and it is still a no show

Just an update for those who posted...
It's now been well over 2 months and still nothing in the mail. CBP insists they have sent it... but USPS can't confirm they've received it. I've rang about 6 times now, and everytime, they tell me that they have been notified that they will receive a package for delivery, but have not actually received it..
Just to make sure that this is not just an unsually long delay within USPS, I had an order shipped from TowerHobbies on the 10th Jul using the cheapest method possbile. Although it did take longer than 5 working days, it has arrived at my doorstep this morning.
I've spoken to AustPost and more than one operator says the tracking number doesn't look quite right. ( ususally parcels from the states don't start with an 'L').
From previous commuication with CBP, he seems like a nice guy so i don't wnat to raise a dispute with PP, but I don't think I'm left with any other option. Perhaps there was a shipping error and it went to the wrong addy... just speculating...

anyways rant over..

EDIT: FYI... in case someone out there can help.. the tracking number is LJ56 5651 741U S

thanks for listening..

I sell their batteries and never had problem with Mike. I believe the only shipping method from USPS with an online tracking # is EMS, Priority Mail International carried a number starts with L when printed online such as PayPal they linked it as tracking, however as I understand it, that's a custom refference # use by custom only. I ship stuff oversea and sometime they do get lost and sellers always get the blame, thats just how the game work.

Overseas is always a risk. Every once in a while, I ship a higher-price item like a motor, ESC, etc and am hesitant to do so. The buyer usually has me mark the package as a "gift" with a value of $25 or less to avoid exhorbitant customs fees, but since that would mean the most that could be reimbursed (because of loss) is $25, I always make sure the other party understands that once I get a tracking number/receipt, it's out of my hands. Sucks for the buyer though as they are out their money and the product.

It could simply be stuck in customs or whatever you have over there? Is there a receiving office for shipments that you could contact?

I suppose you could open a dispute with PP, but that would just punish the seller for something that happened during shipping.

If it has not been logged by the PO then it is the shippers fault - they could have just printed up shipping at home and done nothing with it...

I always ask the USPS to scan in the parcel so that I know its been registered.

File PP now!

Thanks guys.
I did lodge a dispute with PP a couple of weeks back and it has been resolved. As bad as I feel for doing this, I wasn't left with much option as CBP didn't really put any effort into chasing USPS for some answers. I've spent several hours on the phone to both Australian Customs and Aust Post and neither departments could find any record of the parcel arriving in the country.

Brian, I understand your point of view and this is why I never ask for a parcel to be declared as anything but it's true value.
Also I think as a matter of due diligence, shipping internationally should at least be done via registered post, where a signature is required. (small value packages could be an exception. NB: this order was USD$580 ex shipping)
Btw, I've just noticed something. CBP charged $42 for shipping. From experience, should this not be at least registered post??

FYI: the "Gift" concession has been legislatively removed for sometime now, so declaring that an item is a "Gift" has no Tax/duty advantages.
