The 22 series is overkill. The 1940 or 1950 would be more than enough already. The Fun600 would probably do pretty well, too, though I think the 1940 series motor is my favorite for e-maxx trucks, larte and small(1930 for the lighter trucks).

I agree on the 1940, too. I've just sent kontronik a message regrding the fun600 and I'll see what they have to say about it.

Mike can probably make an adapter to fit standard 5mm pinions onto the Lehner 4mm shaft (he does use the 19 series motors).

The 2240 doesn't use standard 540 mounting. For one thing, its mounting screws are 4mm, instead of 3mm for 540s.

The 4mm bore mod1 pinions are on the gear /tranny parts page. I got mine from Mike.

Ooops I had not seen the pinions, therefore for the 22xx enough to use the screw from 4mm or changes also the distance between the holes?

The distance between the holes on a 540 motor is 25.4mm, the Lehner 22 series is 30mm. So, you pretty much need a new motor plate.
