On my CRT.5 I can run 2 back to back packs through my Medusa 36-50-4800 geared for 34MPH and it is generally in the 120's, I temped it at 133* once on a 90* day. ~4800kv seems to be the ticket for 2s and ~3300kv on 3s

Hey Stum, planning on getting a Hyper Ste and would like your input since you seem to have more time with it than anyone else here. I started a thread: http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...626#post290626 Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I got mine in the mail today. Have a few questions:
The diff ratio really is 3.9?
Spur is 42?
And tire diameter is 3.5"?

Just checking b/c I'm running 6s with a medusa 1300kv(which I had lying around), and with the speedcalc I'll need a 22t pinion to gear for 40mph....If I go for bigger(4") wheels for some more ground clearance is I can drop to a 19t pinion.

BTW my Ste came with a different body, it's a pro-line body and looks like a crowd-pleaser.

almost done:

I read somewhere that they were going to start using Pro-Line CRT.5 Crowd Pleaser bodies. Can you get some pictures of it. That would increase sales because the Hyper STe style body is ugly as hell.

BTW is that a 60mm Medusa?

Yes, that's a 60mm1300kv medusa. And I replaced the MMM, it's too big and won't fit under the body. I now have a MGM 8s140amp controller in it....
Not because I want to be overpowered, but I just had this stuff lying around...

I'll take a picture of the body later. I looked at the box, and there's a sticker on it saying from now on the include the crowd pleaser body.

Dang, I was thinking about doing a 6 or 5S Hyper STe and using a MMM but I guess not. I hope the MMPro will be able to handle a Medusa 50mm.

Thanks, that looks 1000% better then the original body. I really wish that the MMM would've fit though...
