UPDATE
Got some things done today, but have a long way to go to get the truck done by sunday
Heres what I have so far
Painted the new 3.3 chassis
Modded a spare set of bulkheads i had as a test
Modified the stock drive yolk to fit until i get my rc monster pieces
I also took the stock revo wheel output shaft and hacked the end of the piece off, then had to grind it down to go into the case and spin without binding.
started to shave the cases, so far the rear bulks are about 80 percent done, but still need some tweaking..
Things to be done by sunday:
-Paint body (not here yet)
-Modify front diff and housing
-complete rear bulkheads
-start and complete front bulkheads
-Finish swapping everything over to the 3.3 chassis
-Install new stub shafts at the wheels (not here yet)
The body and stub shafts are in route, and should be delivered tommorow.. Lets all pray :)
I just got off a 9 hr shift and its 2am. im going to bed.
Crap my body deliever has been delayed... i guess ill just mod the 2.5 to fit.

The truck looks to me more like and F250 and I didn't see any jeans on the cloths line. Although I will note that line drying helps clothes last longer while reducing shrinking and fading at the same time! :)

Drill bits in the hand are a bad thing for sure. I once sent a 3/8's bit through my left hand thumb. It was excruciating, then to top it off, I reaggravated the wound and did it again. I do not recommend this to anyone, it was not fun.

Time for more updates -
07.11.2009, 11:33 PM
Where to begin.. We can start with
Motor/Transmision/Roll bar
- Well i have come to find the differences betweek the 2.5R chassis and 3.3 chassis. Tthe 2.5r will accomodate up to a 44t spur (what i have) with no clearance issues, the 3.3 is made for the 40t only. I had to raise the one side of my transmission with washers to get the spur to clear the chassis.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-The motor mount didnt need much work for going to the new chassis, two areas needed to be clearanced, nothing major. For more gearing adjustment and asthetics, i replaced the cap head scews that connect the motor mount to the chassis with countersunk units..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-With the original setup the revo was very unbalanced, and had no on-power steering,hopefully with the weight of the battery and motor placed diagonally across from each other I will get more steering and front traction.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-The roll bar is just for lazy guys like me to pick up the truck, I had two that werent being used so I modified one to fit. It uses the stock holes but the outer mount must be clearanced so that it does not hit your pinion, I also cut down the roll bar to the highest line to fit lower profile bodies.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(other)
-Battery tray is a cut down Team Novak tray, mounted using the original right side steering servo screws.
Losi Differnential Mod
First off I'd like to say that all mail carrying services are starting to annoy me.. The revo stub shafts that were do in today were not delivered. and the body that was supposed to be here tuesday came today...
-where to begin... to complete this mod you will need four extra stub shafts... if not you need to make your own out of 6mm stock. These diffs went together smoothly. one came pre shimmed out of the package, the other did not. (i ended up picking up 2 stub shafts at the local hobby shop- that is all they had) The rear diff received the modded stub shafts.. and the front diff was dead in the water when the other shafts did not arrive in the mail.. So after spending an hour trying to find a suitable material- i found an old car hood prop that was 6mm OD.. after some creative cutting and drilling this is what I ended up with.
They install just like any dog bone cup would.

Sorry if I haven't read the whole thread, but are those Mike's diffs? Or from another truck? They are nice anyhow. Keep up the work, get er' done!
