E-Revo vs Emaxx ? - 01.06.2006, 04:59 PM

What would be a good choice between the 2 ?

Does an Emaxx with extended chassis be better than E-Revo ?

Of course, in my mind they are both equiped with BL

For racing ? for bashing ?

All your comments are welcome !

Thx

e-revo for both. They got stonger diffs and stuff compared to e-maxx.

In stock form, the Revo is superior. The e-maxx, however, has many more available options for customizing and upgrading, and at this point can be a superior vehicle(not cheap, mind you!) in my opinion.
The electric Revo is a sweet machine for sure, and in time, will have the available upgrades like the emaxx does. The Revo conversion is a bit more tricky to mount the electronics onto, but the "cool factor" alone makes this challenge worth the time.
Honestly, it is a tough choice. Either machine can be excellent racers or bashers.

I have had a emaxx, and now i have a g2r, in my opinion i think the revo looks much better and stronger. But ill just have to see once i can get a first run out of it, which will be in little time, ill tell you how it handles and how durable this thing is, oh and welcome to the forums, its great here! P.S : mike when are the single speeds gonna be in?

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

wELL, REVO IS STILL VERY POPULAR. sO IT MIGHT BE PRICEIER. an e-maxx will depreciate in value, less tghan a e-revo cuz e-revo is still very popular. If your loking for cheap, go to e-maxx.

The emaxx is not that cheap, if you start upgrading , and the "upgrade bug" catches you, you just cant stop upgrading and using money, so it is actually more expensive, because in the e-revo there is less things to replace.

i would certainly say revo. i to, have had both and the revo is in stock form (i.e. stock diffs, stock sliders, ect.) and has yet to break anything. i twisted the emaxx sliders in less than 4 packs. the revo is by far the best. the suspension the far superior to the emaxx even with upgraded suspension. the emaxx will need quite a few things to make it brushless proof. if you race i would certainly go revo. even if you would only bash i would go revo because they are VERY TUFF!

Yes, the revo is one mean machine, if i would rate both trucks i would give them this;

Stock Emaxx 6/10 why: Not very durable, but is good if you dont bash too hard

Upgraded emaxx 7/10 why: this is way different from a stock emaxx, very durable, better looking, if you get the best parts for it , it will be the ultimate truck, but will still not handle as well as a revo, and another thing is it costs a ton! And if you manage to break somthing, it sure isnt cheap to replace!

G2R Revo 10/10 why : I love the looks of this thing, amazing suspension, and looks very durable, my 10 might change if the truck does not do so well, and is fragile, but i think its staying at 10, we'll just have to wait and see.

Hey Sylvester. I give the G2R a 12 out of 10, because it runs as good as it looks. I think you will to.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

12/10? IMPOISSIBE! i rate it a 100% , because there is nothing over, but you can give it extra if you want, i might too if it handles that well;)
