Title pretty much says it all. I'm contemplating the setup in my custom Savage conversion.

Hey Team Tekin, you think your motor will hold up to a 14.5 lb. truck in 110 degree heat?
Could be fun (and open up an entire market in replacement motors for the Flux) to find out!

You can put any motor in any vehicle as long as you can gear correctly. If I had a 5,000:1 gear ratio in my regular size SUV my tekin motor could easily power it and it would go 1 mph. For a 14.5 truck you would have no problem with a 30:1 ratio and the rpm required to get up to the speed you want.

We've seen Savage's and Summits that are Tekin T8 powered! They get it too! LOL

Comparing the tekin t8 I have to a 1515 size motor they appear to be very similar. So I would assume that the t8 can handle anything the 1515 can. If that is the case I have run cc2200 motors in my lst conversions and on 5 and 6s they do just fine. The 1550 or 1700 tekin motor on 6s lipo would be a good choice. I have the 1550 but have yet to run it, and need to sell for financial reasons. I was going to try it in the lst on 6s.

Yah Linc, I saw your ad. I'm really needing the 2000Kv version, though.
