I'm using a 4s 3.0 in my crt.5 and a 5s 5.0 in my rc8 conversion. They haven't given me any trouble yet and run very strong for me.

Probably my "New LiPos!" thread...

I haven't tried em yet, becuase I just don't trust these with my knockoff Deans, that are starting to heat up from my EMaxx KD970s on 4S...

So I'm going to wait until I get my PowerPoles so I can get some solid connectors.

I just hope the ones I got aren't lemons, and actually are 25-30C..

If they work, I'll be using them in my EMaxx (If I can squeeze it in, it is pretty wide...), and my ESavage with the 36-50-3300kV 5mm v2 Medusa on 4S with a Mamba Max.

And a couple other Evader/Rustler MM4600/MM5700 combos..

There is a guy at my local track that spent $200 in lipos. Most were 2s but i saw some 3s. They work great! He said they are the same as zippys and they look the same size. He hasn't had one go bad so so far so good. I'm going to order some sooner or later.

2 of my Turnigys (2S, 5000mAh) cost me about $50 bucks...

So, you could get 8 batteries, for $200.. quite a deal, or 4 2S, and probably 3 3S..

i have two of the turnigy 2s lipos. i'm waiting for a lipo alarm from truerc (using them in an old emaxx with evx), but i will note they don't fit the old emaxx battery trays. i have to stand them up on their sides, and fit them in diagonally.... and i'll use extra strength velcro, lol.

before anyone says anything: i'm just using the original brushed motors, so speed and COG aren't a concern.
