Dace Towers -- what body posts

guys, what are good options for a bulk order of body posts to use with Dace Towers. Is there such a thing as ordering the posts without the horizontal support/brace?

I use the stock traxxas posts with my dace towers. Or you could get the body post material that robin at UE sells, i'm sure mike can get it. I would NOT use aluminum post. You need to have a week point so make it something cheap LOL>

I'll have a look on Robin's site. I agree with the non-aluminum posts although it would probably take me longer to wear them down. Some day I'll realize the throttle has more than three settings: WOT, neutral, brake. :L:

Should I leave the body brace as plastic too?

:L: Find the part # on the UE site then have mike get it for you. You will save a lot on shipping. Robin charges a $ 8.00 flat rate no matter what you order ouch:eek: . If you get the UE stuff there will be no cross brace but still plenty strong. With the traxxas posts there are so many holes in the post its a little weaker than the UE stuff.

I prefer the stock posts. The UE stuff is too stiff and tends to break vs. bending like the stock posts. I run my posts all the way down, though, so I get more wear than breakage(with stock posts-UEs break).
