As for the setup:
- 14 cells IB 3800
- 1930/5 turn motor
- Schulze 149.18 esc ( not shown).

I wont use any custom parts ( except for the battary straps) and I'll see how tough Tamiya's shaft driven machines are.

When's the test then?You aiming for 100mph or something?48p is going to have a hard time with that torque and weight.

Looks like you're going to the edge of bolt-on durability. One question. Where does the esc go?

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

On the rear of the upper deck. That is where I'm going to mount the esc. The test is going to take place a few weeks ahead- if God wills so-I will have to mount a 4cell receiver pack as well. A Venom speedometer is a must to measure the machine's speed. It's going to be practiced twice or thrice and then I'll put it on the shelf after repairs. I'm 100% sure it wont make it safe with out atleast a broken drive shaft.
