I went overkill with a 10S setup on a 8T......It was fun getting there, but when I did I was like now what?? I think alot of guys agree that it is more fun during the building and experimenting process than when everything is done and all you do is turn on the car and know what it is going to do! I think that is why I have lost interest in the hobby!!! Time to move on to something for me!

Wow! i didnt saw the thread had new post! (i normaly have email notifications...)

Congrats for those who got 100 mph too!

Nice looking buggy emaxxnitro!

Im sure you will get in the high 90s soon :)

The foam looked like to hook well, id say it really depend the pavement used, on the last place we used it was wheel spinning with a "nitro" buggy over 65mph, we went up to 77mph with an OS28 at that time....

we were so happy! now it look slow... hehe

My friend sold his buggy..... his really a compulsive buyer(not sure if its how you call that in english) he see something new and get it, sell the other etc...

He ordered the 28t and 30t pinion , didnt received them yet and sold the buggy... lol

Im sure he will buy another one if someone post a vid going 100+mph with their buggy LOL!!

We got 96mph with the 1515 1.5D (2700kv) may be it draw more current?
thats the last test we did....

Good luck guys!

:)

emaxxnitro I thought it was interesting when I put your setup in the brian g calculator it comes up with the same 87.3 mph. I wasnt sure about the diffs so I just put in buggy diffs I think the mugen diffs are higher ratio. I cant wait to get my custom made foam tires.

we need a bigger pinion than 25tmod1 , if anyone know where i can get one or get one fabricated for me let me know!

We have tried 2 different 10S esc and they both had something wrong...
so we would need a slightly taller gearing, like a 28T pinion...
