medusa 36-60/3100 end bell failed - 09.07.2009, 03:10 AM

hello everyone, well medusa has left the seen"RIP".ive been enjoying this motor for a few months and not a single problum, then at our sunday club race today the end bell popped off . So my solution was to set it back in place then pull it back and aply a beed of metal JB weld around the rim and push it in untill bottomed and hope for the best .anyone have a more or better fix to this problum.the internals looked ok ,though i couldnt get the rotor out and didnt want to force it. thanks and have a safe Labor day

i think krawlin had the issue with a 36-70 medusa, and epoxy'ed it back on. it worked great afterwards, but i agree with Arct1k, The heatsink will be a good insurance purchase
