I love brushless as much as any of you, but my Baja's little 2 stroke has won me over (it's staying gas). "Gas ain't nitro" is what everyone else is saying and they're right, there's almost none of the downfalls of a nitro aside from more maintenance than BL, still having fuel, and a lot of noise (I have a rear dominator on my Baja and people have checked those things at 144 decibels, it could wake the dead). From what pinkpanda says though I would keep your Hyper and save up for a Baja or Rampage, they are expensive but you will hang up your CRT and Hyper to run them.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

Converting a 1/5 to electric is like putting a big, expensive electric heating unit in your propane grill. Sure, it might have more power after hundreds or thousands of dollars spent, but it was perfectly fine gas. Keep it gas, unless you have $1000 to spend on awesome electronics.
