When I was 12 I saw these guys playing (through a window, standing on milk crates) at a suburban town hall in Sydney. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it...

Much as I like Maiden I didn't care for the first two with Paul Di'Anno. Musically yes, vocally no. Bruce made Maiden what they were as much as the rest of the band IMO.

Back In The Village was one of my early faves.

Ahh memories...I had a purple ford station wagon when I was a lot younger, with a Deep Purple mixed tape stuck in the player. It only stopped when the tape finally broke...that was a sad day, sold it not long after
