Losi dissapoints me nowadays.

I was hopeing their SC truck was gonna be somthing special, NOT. Yeah the mid motor and Bind and Run is very cool, but thats it.

Another 1/36, The high roller. The coolest looking one yet but still, another one ?

The Speed-T nitro version. Gee, that was a brain fart at best. The electric version was pretty weak.

Now a 1/10 scale remote start truck, Come on ?

I guess Ol' Gil is getting old and the fresh ideas are few and far between. I only hope that the 8ights are not the final oncore of such a kick ass company ?

Wow you just don't get it do you? I think it's an awesome feature!

I think I can make it even better! First we'll have a Cox .049 that runs a mini-generator, which will produce power for the glow starter on a .12. Then the .12 will run a generator that charges up the starter pack for the main engine starter motor. After starting the .049 and .12 with a field starter, you will be able to press the start button, and you will be off and smogging up massive acreage! To make things easier, those 3 engines will all use different fuel.

You guys think I should submit this one to Losi's competition, or just apply for the patent now?

Has anyone looked at it yet? I was skeptical at first, but now i see my next conversion. It looks like a mini 8T, 1/10 not 1/12, but it looks good. Lose the nitro stuff and there looks to be enough room for plenty of electrics.
Here is the link
http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodID=LOSB0126

Unless i miss my guess, it has dual disk brakes, so either comes with or can be made to have a center diff in it

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

ill have to agree it looks good... except for the stupid remote start crap and the tires wheels and body.

i wont be converting one (i would never own a losi, lol) but its feature do look good for a 1/10th, its got everything youd want in a crt.5, ministe, or Ls10 (except metric hardware) ill have to say its a nice surprise on losi's part i think itll be a good platform.

Hmmm, I wonder if they are trying to amplying a 1/10 truggy class?

Looks pretty good tho. Should be a nice platform for a cc/2650....

Now that I've seen some decent pictures of it, It is "kinda cool".
Looks beefy for a 1/10 scale anyway.
Remote start is still pretty dumb but noob friendly I guess, It'll have cheap apeal to the masses of beginners ?

I doubt it'll be that cheap - a DX3S as standard?

I guess Losi was asked the question:

'What do people who don't like nitro want?'
A. Onboard Starting System
B. A decent, strong brushless 1/10 truggy.

Their answer - A. Got that one a touch wrong.

Of course, it'll still sell massively somehow.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

The truck looks good to me. If they made an electric one, I might actually buy something from losi.
