MMM + Small motor = OK. Small motor + big truck = bad. You won't hurt a motor or ESC by using an overkill ESC.
okay, thx dude!

So is there any chance of a 60mmish motor based on your smaller motors? I really like the 2 pole motors for smaller applications, where the higher torque is not needed. A fancy little sensor plug could be handy also, :) but not really necessary.

I imagine that at 1800 KV it would be 5/6s for normal use and up to 8s for more extreme use.

new setup - 11.20.2009, 07:19 PM

Here's a pic of my new light weight setup, I'll be racing it this weekend to try it out. It comes in at 6lbs and 11.9ozs with out the body. I'm running a 1450kv 1509 tekno neu on 6cell 2500mah packs. With this same setup I can get 14 mins with the Mamba Monster esc. I'll see how it does with the MMax pro.

Ah- imagination required, sorry.

It should fit just fine, may just have to fettle the rear shock tower a little for clearance. The 1518 is only about 3-5mm longer than the 1515 based on the comparsion of the 1520/1518/1512 in the photo above- if you take a look at the birdseye views of the BL erevo you get a good idea of how much space is available- one of the little brace thingies might need a notch cut into it, but nothing drastic realy:

Im sure dimensions will be posted when the new motors are put up for sale in the next few days or so- check the CC website at that time.
