charging nimh... thought it would be simple

charging nimh... thought it would be simple - 12.14.2009, 11:21 PM

hyperion eos610i w/ 25amp power supply. everything charging nimh 1800 kodak to 3000 gp AA batteries, all on a radio shack 4AA battery holder w/ switch. i have changed mah for each set

takes forever, over 2 hours

what am i doing wrong?
i know questions are in order :)

aa bateries can only handle .5-.75 amp charge rates, most likely due to massive internal resistance... Time to go to lipo for your tx...

You have 3 modes for Nimh on the 610i, Automatic, Normal, and Linear.

Automatic is a slow conditioning charge, you should be on Normal, much faster.

lol, should have mentioned, for mouse, and keyboard only... so resistance is always high for AA?
i would like logitech to get with the times too...

.. sold the nomadio, crapped out on me, previous thread w/ no link, broke even though.
