the 9100t is a BEAST and has a good track record for being reliable.

I have the 7955. It does pretty good, plenty strong. But it's noisy and I don't think it centers very good. While I have always been very happy with JR servos. If I was buying today it would have to be the JR.

I am very glad you posted this, as I was gonna post this up about a week ago.
I just bought the 7950th and I got it from servocity. But they pricematch servos and ship for free over $100.
Visit Troybuiltmodels.com they have it for $109 but have High shipping. So I called Servocity and told them I found a better deal and they pricematched and shipped for free at $109.00 (it is there policy)

Ive yet to try to run it full on cause my MMM is in the shop.

Do you have anything against Futaba? There's the S9157...

None of my Hitec Servo's have ever failed (knock on wood).

I have the 5955TG but now it's 79##TG or something.

Titanium gears and sealed case make the Hitec a no brainer for me. I have a 5955 in the Muggy, and a 7955 in the mail for the truggy.

I plan on getting the Hobbico CS-170 in the near future. Almost exactly the same servo as the Hitec 7955TG but a little cheaper.

Over the many years I have been into RC, I used Futaba, Airtronics, JR, Hitec, Ace, Hobicco, Ko Propo servos. They all served me well but if I had the money, I would go back to JR. I am presently running ACE servos because I won one and had a real bargain on the other. But I would prefer JR.

Also check ACE and Savöx, Savöx has great servos with low price.

I've had two 5955TGs, both were great. I used one on steering and one on throttle when my Mugen was still nitro. After converting, I kept one just in case the steering servo went out and needed a spare. I sold it a while back since it just sat there.

Great servos, Hitec is great. I used to be a JR man but I've seen too many of them fail, including the 9100T and 9100S. Airtronics makes good servos too!

I like my Hitec 5955TG's. I stripped the output gear and Hitec sent me a new output gear for free. Granted it's been at least 3 years old.

Cool that it's brushless, but the ratings on it aren't too impressive. I was expecting like 400+ oz of torque.
