My wife is in Iowa visting her son and they seen it today. Gawd, she wouldn't shut up about it, musta ben good !?


I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Hmmm, I guess all the action scenes are in the previews because they looked "busy"

yep... but I think its a good movie, just don't expect "over the top" action like transformers,etc

its a lot like burn notice on USA network

I saw it a week ago and loved it.

I like how they stuck with the real character of Holmes being fairly eccentric. I thought Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law were a nice team as well and hope to see more. They had such a good opposites attract vibe going that really fit the characters well. It was also nice to see a good movie without some dopey love interest plot intertwined that doesn't really fit. Too many movies have the action hero getting the hot chick when it really makes zero sense.

Me and the GF saw it on Sun. I honestly was pretty convinced it was gonna suck royally but it was actually very entertaining the whole time. Downey Jr is just an incredible actor
