You may not get it because you don't have a huge lake almost in your backyard with no 'open' areas (road or grass in the winter) to drive around.
The partial traction makes it a different kind of fun to drive around, and being in the middle of a frozen lake is a very unique visual you can't get in the summer...
Just curious if you ask the same question of any RC car that drives in the snow with chains? They should probably just drive on a road also, huh???
