Thumbs up BK Warrior Update!! - 02.06.2006, 02:24 PM

I don't know if this is interesting for our american members, but anyway:

BK offers to upgrade your Warrior for only 50 Euros! On their site they say they will turn a 70 amp Warrior into a 99 amp one, or a 99 amp into a 120!
For extra 50E they will turn a 70 amp Warrior into a 120 amp one.

Not bad!
I'm thinking about sending them mine.

Extra capacitors?!! probably other few things, too. The 70 has only two and the 99 up to the 150 both have 4 capacitors.

I disagree harlock. The new 9920 have 2 capicators to. The 9920 has 2 boards and the 120 has 3 boards. The 7020 has 1 board in it. I would say they add a board or 2.

Peace!

I think it has something to do with the fets, but they may add a capasitor or two to help with dips in voltage

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Correct. FETs determine the amperage capability for the most part (the circuit board(s) also need(s) to handle the amps). Another capacitor would help to smooth the voltage spikes with the addition of more FETs.

Thanks MetalMan. that was something i learned about brushed controlers, that i was sure was similar to brushless.

What about a beat to hell, non-functioning 7018......think they'll do anything to that for cheap? I'm planning on getting a Mtroniks Genesis Pro when Hobby People gets them, unless I can find another good controller for $120 (discount price of the Mtroniks basically).
