i am currently running 4s 5000mah lipo in my trug and getting 14-17 minute run times.would double 2 cell configuration lead to longer run times or would they be the same(ish)? need to get consistant 15 minute run times to be able to race in electric finals9if i can make the finals that is lol)

its the same.. well if i understand you correctly you want to run 2x 2s 5000 packs in series?.. in the end it is still the same battery mass so it will be verrry similar..

Yep, if total voltage and mah is the same, then runtime will be the same ( assuming same quality/ age cells are used roughly ).
