I've witnessed a similar fire on a buggy at the local offroad track. Your buddy must have me pretty pissed. What body is that on the mrx4, btw?

Maybe he should of smothered it with dirt would have shut the fire off before it got out of control or sand

My MRX4X's brushless controller went on fire, too. I don't really know what exactly happened, but my digital servo, tekin esc, and cc bec all had gone up in smoke.

That is the first thing I thought of when the fire started. Then I kept looking at the video thinking: ''why are these guys letting it burn like that!?'' I hear one guy say: It's gonna blow up anytime now'' and they all back off and watch it burn. Lipos don't blow up like sticks of dynamite.
I felt a little sick looking at the pics of this poor guy's MRX4. So many parts could've been saved by kicking dirt on the fire to smother it.

No brain, no headaches.

damn...as soon as the 02 hit the exposed lipo...smoke and fire!...i agree with crash...they could have definitely saved a lot more of the car by just throwing dirt on the fire..CDF style...lol

Umm ok... Why the FU*K didn't anyone do ANYTHING to put it out??? Really... come on now. Would you rather take a chance burning your shoe or sit there and watch ~$1000 burn down for frakking 5 minutes?! This type of idiocy gets me angry...

Sooo even more reason somebody should have done something... Have you ever seen the Gamefly commercials with people buying bad video games and freaking out? That's how I felt the entire time watching you guys let that car burn minute after minute. Yes, I am sorry that you lost your car but it may not have been a total loss...
