Carbon fiber project ideas, need help

I have some scrap pieces of carbon fiber I bought on Ebay one day just because I love the stuff and figured I could find some small projects to do with it. The problem is I can't seem to figure out what to make! I'd like you guys to help me come up with some ideas for stuff I could make for my current vehicles (see signature). The size is a bit limiting (135x40 and 2.5mm thick) but I'm just looking for little stuff I could build in an afternoon or two.

If someone comes up with a really good idea and wants a few pieces I'll send you them as a reward!

How about an end (cover) plate for the Neu's, MMM/MMP mount?

I've also used CF to make a simple wheelie plate, it becomes sacrificial without wheels but I've never used a better one before and they last surprisingly well. I made one with a pointed end...worked a treat

Depending on what batteries you run, I'd say thats pretty close to perfect for some custom battery trays. :mrd: Maybe just use some small aluminum angle to hold it together. Just a thought...

I might look into making some of those stone/mud guards that mount to the rear a-arms. I've seen those sold commercially made out of CF, and the pieces I have are just about perfect size. Not sure if the thickness is right though?

EDIT: Also maybe a custom Ackermann steering plate. Might have to epoxy two pieces together to get 5mm because 2.5mm seems too thin for that part.

2.5 will be more than enough for the ackerman, the holes will elongate eventually though

If you make the mud guards from 2.5 like the extreme racing you'll have them for life

x2 on the mud-guards; they look pretty slick and I'm sure will be durable!

If you're doubling them up, what about some shock towers?

Skids,mudgaurds,ackerman plate,esc/Rx mounts,chassis braces.....wings? Or whatever would just look cool in carbon fiber really!--Josh

I think I'll go for the mudguards. I had some Lexan ones that came on my Jammin X1, so basically those can be the templates.
